I read on your lips
What you've been trying to tell the people
But nobody listened
I read about your story
All the battles you fought
Fought for your country
But no one understood your thoughts
I heard about your actions
How hero you were
But no one gave you value
I knew about your plans
You wanted equality among citizens
You wanted people to be united
But they ignored
You taught your people to believe
To believe in the better future
But they gave upon their faith and dreams
How would you make it happen
You were only alone
Days passed fast
Brutally you passed away
Lefting behind your people
Holding up their hearts
Your people knew
Knew that after you are gone
They would suffer
No one will help them
But still, you are a hero
You are a hero of the nation
The hero of the people
People whom wanted you alive
Even ignoring all the goods
You wanted for them!!!

Samora Machel was the first president of Mozambique who fought for liberation of Mozambique on June 25 1975!
