Of what should be eternal...
A life to comprehend
Behind everything that's infernal.

What is there to understand
Of what should be livable?
A life to take in hand
Behind everything that's attainable.

The loss of a friend,
Might be terrible,
But it's not the end.

And I do commend,
One to forever stand,
Into one's own command.
