| Today,
I woke up feeling lighter
I felt like a feather itself
Stepping on soft ground,
Without the heavy impact of my feet
I felt like I was floating
I felt like I was walking on the moon
Weightless
Without gravity
Just the freedom to walk without the weight
Just walking lightly
Today,
Today I woke up on the moon
I glimpsed the stars
Throughout the entire morning,
I witnessed the sun bidding farewell,
as it set behind the earth
Today,
Today I woke up as a poet
I saw the earth in the distance
That blue sphere
That sails through infinite space
Mother ship Earth
Holder of souls
Today
And only for today
I am walking on the moon
Leaving my footprints on its surface
Marks that time will erase
But in my dreams
Will never disappear
And I will live for eternity
Today
I am walking on the moon
I am not a deity
Just simply walking on the moon.
