My village
It's a village
There's no other like it
It has a school and a church
Like almost all in Portugal

My village It's a village
Where little of the rural life remains
Because living that way
Doesn't sustain the animals

My village
It's a village
Located in the countryside
It has the green that surrounds it
Its true love

My village
It's a village
That only has in the countryside
The old man as guardian
For he is almost the only inhabitant

My village
It's a village
Like almost all in Portugal
Youth is scarce
It was forced to dream of another Portugal
