What is the price of a child
In a state of purity
Believing with hope
In a better future

What is the price of a youth
That cannot dream
Flying at low altitude
Running out of fuel in mid-air

What is the price of a nation
Once truly revered
Now eating the scraps
Of the masters of the feast

What is the price of a people
Embittered and depressed
Begging for something new
While someone seems to have forgotten

What is the price?
