| Dear son, almost four months now,
Since the fourth day of June.
Four — a number I can't ignore,
Since that unforgettable fourth of June.
Around four in the morning,
Your life was slipping away.
The doctors waited for your family,
Before they let you go.
You went so far away,
And all my days turned gray.
And my deepest desire
Is to meet you again someday.
It was nature's cruel mistake,
A father should never lose his son.
My soul should still be whole,
But the waking never comes.
Where are you now?
Can you hear me?
I don't know if you can hear me,
But I open my soul to you.
And somehow, when I talk to you,
My heart finds a little peace.
So I keep talking, day by day
, Because you're still here with me.
Laurent, I see your smile
In the face of your little girl.
That smile will be protected
By everyone around her world.
Her mother and her aunts,
Her grandparents by her side.
She's only five, she doesn't know yet

You were born a great lover of art
